Minor earthquake felt in Fairbanks

FAIRBANKS - A minor earthquake was felt in Fairbanks just after 1 p.m. Friday.

The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the magnitude 2.1 earthquake was located about three miles east of Fairbanks, at a depth of about seven miles.

The center says people in Fairbanks reported feeling the earthquake, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
