Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Domestic disputes:
While responding to a 911 hang-up call shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday from a home in the Fritz Cove Road area, Juneau Police officers contacted a man, 20, and a woman, 25, who had been involved in a verbal altercation. The man left the home.
Warrant arrests:
About 12:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 31, was arrested in the Juneau area on an outstanding Alaska State Troopers warrant for failure to pay fines depending from original charges of sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and of driving without a valid license. The $250 bail was cash only. The man was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Traffic stops:
At 8:30 p.m. Thursday, a man, 19, was cited for driving without a license at the intersection of Glacier Highway and Fritz Cove Road. His vehicle was left legally parked.
Impounded vehicles:
About 4 p.m. Thursday, a white 1970 Cadillac was impounded near the intersection of Egan Drive and Riverside Drive for being parked on the roadway, which is illegal.
Shortly after midnight Thursday, a girl, 17, was cited on Mendenhall Loop Road for driving without a license and released. The vehicle was impounded for safekeeping. Alcohol was not involved.
Vehicle accidents:
About 2 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of Anka Street and Commercial Boulevard. The vehicles involved were a 1980 Ford pickup operated by a woman, 36; and a 1983 Toyota driven by a man, 72. The Ford sustained $200 damage. The Toyota sustained $1,500 damage. There were no injuries.
Other:
A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew transported a woman, 57, from Haines suffering a heart attack. The Rescue Coordination Center in Juneau received a medical transport request from the Haines Medical Clinic at 2 p.m. Thursday. An Air Station Sitka helicopter picked up the woman at 3:15 p.m. and transported her to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment.
