Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Fuel valued at $30 was reported stolen at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.
At 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, a pair of eyeglasses was reported stolen out of an unlocked vehicle at the 200 block of Marine Way.
Police cited a 15-year-old girl on a charge of concealing merchandise at 1:41 p.m. Tuesday in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.
Police cited a 22-year-old man on charges of negligent driving and failing to provide proof of insurance after an accident at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday on Riverside Drive near Riverbend School in the Mendenhall Valley. The man was driving a 1991 Subaru that reportedly struck a 2001 Hyundai driven by a 56-year-old woman. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Hyundai and $1,000 to the Subaru.
Police cited a 31-year-old man on charges of failing to maintain a safe distance in traffic and failing to provide proof of insurance after an accident at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday on outbound Egan Drive near Glacier Highway in the Jordan River area. The man was driving a 1998 Dodge van that reportedly struck a 2003 Dodge Neon driven by a 23-year-old woman. Total damage was estimated at $400.
Police cited a 31-year-old man on a careless driving charge after reportedly driving a 1990 Toyota Camry into a ditch at 7:23 p.m. Tuesday on Central Avenue near Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. Damage to the car was estimated at $1,000. A traffic sign sustained an estimated $200 in damage in the accident.
