'SantaLand' switched from Squires to UAS Rec Center

AUKE BAY - The Auke Bay presentation of "SantaLand Diaries," scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Squires Rest, has been moved to the University of Alaska Southeast's new Recreation Center, off Back Loop Road.

The other Juneau performances - 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Dec. 1-2, at the Alaskan Hotel & Bar, and Sunday, Dec. 4, at The Island Pub in Douglas - remain the same.

Perseverance to hold 'Master Class' auditions

JUNEAU - Perseverance Theatre will hold auditions for its second stage production of Terrance McNally's "Master Class" from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5.

Sarah Denhardt will direct, and Joyce Parry Moore will star as Maria Callas.

Rehearsals begin in March 2006 with performances April 20-29. The theater hopes to cast two sopranos, and one tenor. Prepare one song, preferably classical, and contact Denhardt at 364-2421 x231 or sarah@perseverancetheatre.org to schedule an audition.
