Synopsis: Lots of pop-tune montages stretch this thinner-than-thin comedy about a chicken who thinks the sky is falling into a kid-friendly 78 minutes.

Synopsis: An adaptation of Gulf War veteran Anthony Swofford's memoir, it's a movie about a generation of soldiers who grew up watching war movies.

"Zathura: A Space Adventure," (PG) **1/2

Synopsis: An old board game sends a pair of bickering brothers (and their house) on a fantastical space adventure. Better than the similar "Jumanji."

Synopsis: The Goblet of Fire picks Harry Potter to compete for the coveted Triwizard Cup - never mind that the rules say Harry is too young to enter.

"Just Friends," (PG-13)

Synopsis: A teenage fat friend tells his teenage skinny girl friend of his love for her. She rejects him. They grow up, and he turns out to be hot.

"Rent," (PG-13)

Synopsis: The hit Broadway rock opera comes to the screen, complete with friends and lovers dealing with addiction and AIDS. Oh, they can't pay rent.

"Walk the Line," (PG-13) ****

Synopsis: Film tells the story of country music legend Johnny Cash by focusing on his love for June Carter, who later became his second wife.

"Yours, Mine & Ours," (PG)

Synopsis: This remake of a 1968 film brings together two people and eighteen kids. Funny if you like to see people fall down in unknown fluids, otherwise tired.
