Troopers investigate stabbing in Brevig Mission

ANCHORAGE - Alaska State Troopers are investigating the stabbing death of a 38-year-old Brevig Mission man.

Troopers in Nome took a report at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday that Andrew Tocktoo had been killed.

Officers went to the community and continue to investigate. They have released no information regarding the circumstances.

Brevig Mission is an Inupiat Eskimo community of 358 people about 65 miles northwest of Nome and 5 miles northwest of Teller.
