Organization description: Big Brothers/Big Sisters establishes professionally supported relationships between Southeast Alaska youth and mature caring volunteers who serve as friends and mentors.

Volunteer positions available: Big Brothers/Big Sisters is looking for volunteers to be a big brother or sister to a young person for one to two hours a week. Volunteers are also needed to do clerical work and help with special events.
Hours: Regular and one-time volunteers are needed.
Training: Big Brothers/Big Sisters will provide the training.
Special requirements: A background check and references will be required of all volunteers.
In-kind donations needed: Alaskan and Proud receipts, tickets to events, Alaska Airlines frequent flyer miles, office supplies and a used vehicle.
