ANCHORAGE - Republicans in the Alaska House are deciding whether to allow state Rep. Kyle Johansen of Ketchikan back into their caucus for the upcoming session in Juneau.

The majority leader decided to leave last month in a dispute with the group over a committee chairmanship.

KTUU reports he has sent an e-mail to fellow Republicans saying he made a mistake and wants to rejoin the caucus as soon as possible.
