Thefts, lost and found property:
About 9 a.m. Friday, a man (no age given) reported his black nylon briefcase and its contents stolen from his unlocked vehicle at the Sealaska parking lot. The case contained a camera, dayplanner and some compact discs.
About 9:45 a.m. Friday, a woman (no age given) reported she had left her checkbook on the roof of her car while driving outbound on Egan Drive. She was able to retrieve the checkbook. However, some cash, a bank deposit slip and her Costco card were picked up by another motorist.
Shortly before 5 p.m. Friday, a blue 1985 Ford Taurus was reported stolen from Switzer Village trailer court. It was later reported recovered.
At 11:10 a.m. Friday, the Southeast Alaska Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search warrant at a Juneau residence where evidence of controlled substance sales were present. Items of evidence were seized. Four individuals were present at the residence, and another eight arrived while investigators were there. Investigation is ongoing. Cases were forwarded to the District Attorney's office, said Trooper Sgt. Ray Culbreth. Troopers also reported that they had seized 139 marijuana plants and six lighting systems in the Meadow Lakes area of Palmer on Friday.
Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, a man, 24, was cited on Egan Drive inbound for driving without a valid license. He was released at the scene. His vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, a man, 43, was cited near the Federal Building and C Street for driving without a valid license. He was released. The vehicle was left legally parked.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, a man, 19, was cited on Glacier Highway and released for driving a vehicle without a valid licensee. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, police officers responded to a report of a party on Second Street in Douglas. A boy, 16, was cited for minor consuming and misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was released to his parents.
About 3 p.m. Friday, a man, 43, was arrested at a motel on West Willoughby Avenue on an outstanding $250 Juneau Police Department warrant requesting him to answer a charge of domestic violence assault.
