I, Florence Mynarski, thank the Juneau Empire for printing my name in the Classifieds so I could win a pizza from Papa Murphy's. It was delicious.

The Valley people want at $22 million recreational complex but Douglas can't have a simple skating rink?

I think the area near the Boy Scout camp is an excellent place for a large gravel pit.

I would like to say how sorry I am for the Pilot family who lost their son. I'm sure he was a wonderful, precious child.

As a longtime state employee I can confirm that the only zero tolerance policy visible in the Knowles administration is zero tolerance toward workers who speak out against abusive, unethical management behavior. These dedicated employees are harassed and blacklisted while the abuses continue.

It is absolutely appropriate for the city to require Totem Creek to meet the Audubon International Signature requirements for their golf course. Totem Creek's resistance to that indicates they are not willing to do it right.

I was unhappy to hit my brakes hard on the wet and slippery Egan Drive recently when I saw a car with lights off on the side of the road only to find out it was a trooper. If they want to be more visible they should put their flashing lights on. That always slows me down.
