Due to a reporter's error, a story in Tuesday's Empire inaccurately said a campaign finance reform initiative would limit donations from political parties to $1,000, compared to the $4,000 now allowed. The initiative would reduce maximum donations from any group that is not a political party to candidates from $4,000 to $1,000.

Due to a reporter's error, a story in Thursday's Empire incorrectly stated that The Friendly Planet, 200 Seward St., had no insurance to cover artist Michael Reid Hunter's stolen gold pendants. The store does have insurance.
