Murkowski tells the truth about road

Posted: Sunday, December 03, 2006

I am reading "Murkowski: Road needed for Kensington" (Thursday's Juneau Empire). Wow! The governor is being a bit truthful - finally. After all this time. I didn't know he had it in him.

Sound off on the important issues at

A road to the mine - what an idea - and here I thought it was an honest endeavor to connect Juneau to the outside world. How foolish of me.

And he is leaving on a world cruise I wonder who's paying for that? Couldn't be Kensington perhaps? I mean heck, there must be some motivation why he has intentionally decimated the ferry system regardless of how it affected residents of Southeast Alaska.

Well Murkowski, enjoy your trip, even if paid for by intentional falsehoods. I'll certainly enjoy your being gone from office.
