FORT WAINWRIGHT - The Army says more than 150 soldiers from Fort Wainwright will return home this week.

The soldiers, from Task Force 49, are scheduled to arrive at Eielson Air Force Base on Thursday, and then be bused to Fort Wainwright to be reunited with family and friends.

The soldiers performed combat aviation operations as the Multi-National Corps-Iraq's Combat Aviation Brigade at Balad, Iraq. They left Fort Wainwright in November 2007.
