Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Domestic dispute:
Police arrested a man, 47, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 5:16 p.m. Tuesday in the Douglas area. They lodged him at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Drunken driving:
Police arrested Andrea Byrnes, 45, of Gustavus, on a drunken driving charge at 1:19 a.m. Wednesday at Third and G streets in Douglas. Police also charged her with refusing a chemical test. They lodged her at the state prison and impounded the vehicle she was driving.
Vehicle accidents:
A 1992 Honda Civic reportedly struck a 2000 Toyota sports utility vehicle at 1:53 p.m. Tuesday, on outbound Egan Drive at Salmon Drive. Damage was estimated at $2,000 to the Honda and $3,000 to the Toyota. No injuries were reported.
Police issued a verbal warning to a man, 18, who was operating a Dodge Neon that slid into a 1994 Plymouth Voyager at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday on Auke Lake Way. Damage was estimated at $500 to the Neon and $2,000 to the Voyager.
Police cited a man, 24, on a charge of failing to carry insurance after his Chevrolet was struck by a 1999 Honda CRV driven by a 15-year-old boy at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday at Third and B streets in Douglas. Damage was estimated at $500 to the Chevrolet and $1,000 to the Honda. No injuries were reported.
Hit and run:
A teenager reported at 2:51 p.m. Tuesday his 2000 Honda Civic was struck while parked near Harbor Way downtown. No damage estimate was available.
A man reported at 11:26 a.m. Wednesday his Chevrolet Silverado was struck by an unknown vehicle during the weekend somewhere in the Juneau area. A large hole was reported near a rear tire.
Theft:
Police arrested a boy, 14, on a charge of shoplifting at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday in the downtown area. Officers released him to his parents.
At 1:34 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported the theft of his bicycle from the Harris Harbor area. Officers recovered the bike later in the day and returned it to the owner.
Vandalism:
At 6:43 p.m. Tuesday, a woman reported the front fender of her vehicle was bent by vandals near G Street downtown. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Found property:
At 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, a Motorola cellular telephone was reported found in the downtown area. It was turned over to police, who placed it in safekeeping.
At 3:59 p.m. Tuesday, police picked up a telescope reportedly found near South Franklin Street.
Traffic stop:
Police cited a man, 19, on a charge of driving with a license suspended or revoked at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday on Douglas Highway and Vista Drive. Police released the man and impounded the vehicle.
