Juneau resident Lance Arthur Hathaway, 46, died Nov. 26, 2003, in Juneau.
He was born Sept. 7, 1957, in Hastings, Minn. He attended Apollo High School in St. Cloud, Minn. Arriving in Alaska in 1984, he moved to Juneau in 1999. He was employed as a groundskeeper for Alaskan Memorial Park and with Juneau Wholesale.
His family said he enjoyed hiking, camping and riding his Wing motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Hathaway.
He is survived by his grandparents, John and Dorthy Moller of Baxter, Minn.; mother, Karen Hathaway of Cross Lane, Minn; companion, Phyllis Smith of Douglas; sons, Lance Hathaway Jr. and Alex Hathaway, both of Nuiqsut; brothers, Kirk, Jeff and Brent Hathaway, all of Minnesota; and the mother of his children, Susie Kunaknana.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at 1315 Third St. in Douglas. For details, call 790-2789.
