Tellebration celebrated in Juneau on Dec. 7

Tellebration, a worldwide celebration of story, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, around a fire at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. The event is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated.

The annual event, sponsored by the National Storytelling Network, brings people from all over the globe together to share stories, from personal vignettes to traditional tales, from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Juneau-area storytellers are Pat McLear, Pete Griffin, Patrick Murphy, Sheila Fisher and Grace Elliott.
