FAIRBANKS - The Fairbanks Native Association's detoxification clinic is accepting patients again.
The Gateway to Recovery Enhanced Detoxification Center had stopped operating in August when its only nurse practitioner quit.
Police Chief Laren Zager told The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner he's delighted by Wednesday's reopening. He says it's important to have as many detox services available as possible in the winter.
