Air Force Band holiday concert

Top Cover, a traveling group of musicians from the Air Force Band of the Pacific, will perform a free "Home for the Holidays" concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Centennial Hall.

The band will play Christmas songs arranged by contemporary artists such as Celine Dion, Michael Bolton and the group SheDaisy.

Children are welcome, said the band's drummer, Sgt. Scott Weller. There may be some special appearances by guests such as Santa Claus and Elvis, he added.

"Santa might be there with candy. I am not saying whether Elvis might show up too," Weller said. "We haven't confirmed that because no one has sighted Elvis recently."

The concert will last for a hour and 45 minutes, with a 10-minute intermission.
