Though your days may be filled with holiday feasts and gift shopping, this time of year is also excellent for conducting a successful job search. Many companies hire temporary employees for the holidays, which results in an increase of post-holiday job opportunities. Ford R. Myers, president of Career Potential, a career-consulting firm based in Haverford, Pa., has the following tips for job seekers: 1. Send holiday cards to potential employers.
