Due to a reporter's error, an Empire story on the Tuesday business page about the economics of Southeast Alaska's Native corporations incorrectly stated that Kake Tribal Corp. had a combined income of $1.3 million from Jan. 1 through Oct. 31 of this year. That figure is the combined payroll. Furthermore, Kake Tribal business does not represent 70 percent of the income of the village of Kake and 80 percent of Pelican's income. Those percentages refer to the corporation's impact on the economies.

In addition, an investment management company founded by Huna Totem Corp. was referred to as "RightStar Investment." It is "BrightStar Investment."
