"King Island Christmas," 7:30 tonight, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday, Juneau-Douglas High School auditorium. Show appropriate for ages 2 and up. Tickets are $18 to $22 Friday and Saturday nights, and $13 to $17 matinees and weekdays.

"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, at Northern Light United Church, free, but donations accepted. Production of Northern Light Junior Theater, directed by J. Althea.

"HelloHiThanks," a theatrical clown show by Emily Windover, 7 p.m. Friday, 4:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Goldtown Nickelodeon Theater, tickets at the door, $5-$15 sliding scale.


Home For The Holidays: Top Cover, 7 tonight, Centennial Hall, free, eight-piece pop and rock band doing holiday and popular music, part of the Air Force band based in Anchorage.

Juneau-Douglas High School Choirs and Orchestras, 7 p.m. Tuesday, jazz bands, intermediate and concert band and wind ensemble, 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, about 1 1/2-2 hours, free, but donations welcome.


A musical celebration of the life of Tim Wood, 7 p.m. Sunday, Alaskan Hotel Bar, benefit for Hospice and Home Care of Juneau, music provided by bands and musicians Wood played with during his life in Juneau - Rockfish, C-Notes, B-Natural Boys, Salsa Borealis and The Dock Tones.


"Looking For Alaska," booksigning with author Peter Jenkins, 35 p.m. Saturday at Hearthside Books in Nugget Mall. Slide show, reading and booksigning 3 p.m. Sunday at the Juneau Empire, 7 p.m. Monday at the Back Room at the Silverbow Inn. All are free.
