Museum seeks advisers

JUNEAU - The Alaska State Museums, which include the Juneau museum and Sheldon Jackson Museum in Sitka, are seeking candidates for the museum collections advisory committee. The committee is responsible for approving donations, acquisitions and de-accessions for the museums.

Members serve a three-year term without compensation. A minimum of two teleconferences are held annually. Candidates should have knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: museums, Alaska history, fine arts, natural history, archeology or anthropology.
