Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• Timothy C. Brown, 22, was found guilty of drivng under the influence, stemming from an Aug. 1, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .238 percent. District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 80 days in jail with 75 days suspended, fined Brown $1,500 with none suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for one year.

• James L. Newman, 44, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from an Aug. 23, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .180 percent. Levy imposed 100 days in jail with 75 days suspended, fined Newman $3,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for two years.

• Melanie J. McGrath, 24, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Sept. 12, 2009, incident in which her blood-alcohol content was measured at .147 percent. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 33 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined McGrath $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for 18 months.

• Travers Cameron, 34, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a Sept. 27, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .148 percent. Levy imposed 80 days in jail with 60 days suspended, fined Cameron $3,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for two years.
