Images from another time: Fourth float, 1966

Children play and cheer for a mock football game on this Fourth of July float called "Little Today, Big Tomorrow" during the Juneau parade in 1966. The building on the left was occupied by Ludwig Nelson Jewelry and Vi's Fashion. It is now the Gallery of The North. The building on the right was an apartment building now occupied by El Sombrero.
