Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Domestic violence:

• Police arrested a 35-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 7:20 p.m. Monday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Theft:

• A large double suitcase was reported stolen at 1:07 p.m. Monday from an unlocked 1993 Mazda in the 400 block of Gastineau Avenue.

• Cash was reported stolen from a purse at 6:41 p.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Trout Street in the airport area.

• Three compact discs and a 3-inch clown figurine were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 9200 block of James Place in the valley.

Vehicle accident:

• Police cited a 34-year-old man on a charge of unsafe passing on the right after an accident at 3:52 p.m. Monday at First and Seward streets. The man was driving a 1997 Dodge Ram that sustained an estimated $1,500 in damage. The other vehicle, a 2001 Ford driven by a 49-year-old woman, also sustained an estimated $1,500 in damage.

Hit and run:

• A 1994 Dodge was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at 3:02 p.m. Monday in the 8700 block of Glacier Avenue in the airport area.

• A Subaru Legacy was reported struck by an unknown vehicle at 3:25 p.m. Monday on Jackson Road in the Douglas area.
