Juneau sends six wrestlers to state

The Juneau-Douglas and Thunder Mountain wrestling teams returned from Craig with six state qualifiers for this weekend's tournament in Wasilla.

Four Falcons won the lone berth in their weight classes while two Crimson Bears made it through the Region V tournament to advance to state.

Thunder Mountain heavyweight Cole Bossio, 130-pounder Thomas Riley, David Steininger at 160 pounds and the 171-pound Jackson Pavitt are headed to state to represent the Falcons.

The Bears will send the 189-pound Henry Dalton and 145-pound Kyle Barry to Wasilla this weekend.
