Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police arrested a man, 34, on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 2:05 a.m. Tuesday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A five-string bass guitar, worth $500, was reported stolen at 12:49 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of West 12th Street downtown.
About $3,700 worth of items were reported stolen at 2:08 p.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Fourth Street in Douglas. The items included compact discs in a green CD wallet and a digital camera.
A purse was reported stolen at 4:18 p.m. from an unlocked vehicle in the 5900 block of Churchill Way in the Lemon Creek area. The loss was estimated at more than $500. The purse contained $30 and four Italian charm bracelets.
Beer and wine worth $50 was reported stolen at 4:42 p.m. Monday from a parking lot near Main Street and Egan Drive downtown.
About 200 gallons of heating fuel were reported stolen at 8:53 a.m. Tuesday from a residence in the 8500 block of Rainbow Row in the Valley. The fuel was worth $700 and was reportedly taken sometime in the last two weeks.
A pair of sunglasses, worth $450, and a $20 flashlight with a headstrap were reported stolen at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday from an unlocked vehicle in the 2300 block of Fritz Cove Road.
A 35mm camera was reported stolen at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday in the 17200 block of Andreanoff Drive in the Lena Loop area.
A woman, 26, was cited on a charge of failing to show proof of insurance after an accident at 5:23 p.m. Monday on inbound Egan Drive near Vanderbilt Hill Road. She was driving a 1989 Chevrolet. Damage was estimated at $1,000. Damage to the other vehicle, a 2004 Toyota driven by a man, 50, was estimated at $500.
Hit and run:
At 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, a man reported his 2002 Honda Civic was struck while parked overnight in the 300 block of South Franklin Street.
Police impounded a vehicle at 1:29 a.m. Tuesday on Trinity Drive near Mendenhall Loop Road after citing its driver, a man, 22, on a charge of driving without a valid license.
Police arrested a man, 19, at 12:59 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of being a minor on a premises licensed to sell alcoholic beverages. They lodged him at the state prison.
