Driving while intoxicated:
Cheryl Lewis, 51, was arrested for drunken driving at 1:18 a.m. Thursday near Sixth Street, after driving her Ford pickup into a fence. She was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center, where she was additionally charged with refusal to take a breath test, criminal mischief and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.
John Allen Paul III, 31, was arrested for drunken driving and refusal to take a breath test at 10:30 a.m. Thursday near West Willoughby Avenue. He was lodged at the state prison and his vehicle was impounded.
A 31-year-old man was cited at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday near outbound Egan Drive and Fred Meyer for failing to yield to oncoming vehicles and failing to carry proof of insurance. His 1984 Chevrolet pickup truck and a 1999 Subaru Forester were involved in a two-vehicle accident. The pickup sustained $2,000 in damage and the Forester $4,000 in damage.
At 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, a 33-year-old woman reported she struck a pothole near Vintage Boulevard and Postal Way, causing damage to her 1998 Dodge Durango.
At 11:24 a.m. Thursday, a 48-year-old woman reported her 2001 green Subaru was struck by another vehicle near Mendenhall Mall Road. Damage was unknown.
A 24-year-old girl was arrested for assault at 10:24 p.m. Wednesday in Juneau. She was lodged at Johnson Youth Center.
A small $5 black purse, containing miscellaneous identification cards, was reported lost somewhere in the Juneau area.
