Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police arrested a 36-year-old man on a charge of domestic-violence assault at 5:19 a.m. Thursday in the Mendenhall Valley. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
A backpack containing two cellular telephones, a computer-memory stick, prescription glasses, designer sunglasses, an organizer, credentials and a magnetic key card were reported stolen at 12:08 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Main Street.
At 9:21 a.m. Thursday, $453 in heating oil was reported stolen in the 4000 block of Deborah Drive in the valley.
An accident at 10:08 p.m. Wednesday on Stephen Richards Memorial and Riverside drives in the valley left an estimated $1,000 in damage to a 1999 Pontiac and $4,500 in damage to a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe. The Pontiac was driven by a 21-year-old man. The Chevrolet was driven by a 28-year-old man.
Police impounded a vehicle at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at South Franklin Street and Ferry Way downtown after citing the driver, an 18-year-old man, on a charge of driving without a license.
Police arrested a 43-year-old man on a charge of being intoxicated in a business licensed to sell alcohol at 9:11 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of South Franklin Street. They lodged him at the state prison.
