Christa L. McMullen of Anchorage and Matthew S. Hagan of Bellingham, Wash., will marry at 6 p.m. Feb. 19, 2005, at Birchwood Presbyterian Church in Bellingham, with a reception to follow at the Majestic.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Nancy and Michael McMullen of Juneau. She is a graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham. She is employed as a manager of passenger sales and service for Holland America Cruise Line in Anchorage.
The groom-elect is the son of Judy and Steve Hagan of Port Alice, British Columbia. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and WWU. He is employed as a marketing program manager for Alpha Technologies Inc. in Bellingham.
The maid of honor will be the bride's sister, Carrie McMullen of Juneau. The flower girl will be the bride's niece, Lannea Sutak. The best men will be the groom's brothers, Brad and Rob Hagan. The ushers will be the bride's brothers, Chad and Craig McMullen. Ring bearers will be the bride's nephews, Taylor and Reilly Sutak. The bride's grandfather, the Rev. Glenn Sachs, of Juneau, will be officiating at the ceremony.
The couple has known each other since they were 11 years old, swimming competitively in Southeast Alaska. They were reunited at a WWU Career Fair while recruiting for their respective companies.
