Complaint:
At about 7:20 p.m. Saturday, a Subaru was reported off the roadway on Mendenhall Loop Road. The vehicle was later removed.
Domestic dispute:
At about 2 a.m. Sunday, a 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault on Franklin Street. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Driving without a license:
At about 3:50 a.m. Saturday, a 22-year-old man was cited for driving without a license on Egan Drive. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
At about 8:50 a.m. Saturday, a 40-year-old man was cited for driving without a license and without proof of insurance on Egan Drive. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
Drunken driving:
At about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Shawn Bethers, 23, was cited and released for drunken driving on Glacier Highway. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
Minor consuming:
At about 9:15 p.m. Saturday, a 13-year-old girl was cited and released for minor consumption on Glacier Highway.
At about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, a 16-year-old girl was cited and released for minor consumption on Glacier Avenue.
Shoplifting:
At about 5:30 p.m. Friday, a 21-year-old female was cited for larceny in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
Theft:
At about 11 a.m. Saturday, a 30-year-old man reported that his black leather wallet containing $60 and other miscellaneous items were stolen in downtown. The wallet was valued at $25.
At about 4:50 p.m. Saturday, a 20-year-old female reported the theft of DVDs, clothing and a necklace, as well as vandalism to various property in the 3600 block of Amalga Street. The value of the items was unknown.
Traffic accident:
At about 5:50 p.m. Friday, a 49-year-old female driving a Toyota pickup truck struck a tree on Mendenhall Loop Road. She was transported via ambulance to Bartlett Regional Hospital and the vehicle she was driving was totaled. She was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
At about 9:20 a.m. Sunday, a 27-year-old man driving a Chevrolet and a 26-year-old man driving a Toyota collided on Fritz Cove Road. The driver of the Toyota was cited for speed and failure to carry proof of insurance. Both vehicles were totaled and privately towed.
At about 10:10 a.m. Sunday, a 59-year-old man lost control of his Ford in the 11300 block of Glacier Highway, striking a guardrail and pole. He was cited for speeding. The car sustained approximately $7,500 in damage and was privately towed from the area.
Vandalism:
At about 12:05 a.m. Saturday, a 60-year-old man reported graffiti on his fence in the 5900 block of Lemon Street.
At about 10 p.m. Saturday, a 44-year-old man reported a structure being spray-painted in the 5800 block of Montgomery Street. Damage was estimated at $50.
