Juneau police and fire officials and state police reported:
At about 3 a.m. Tuesday, a 33-year-old man reported being assaulted in the 800 block of Glacier Avenue. The investigation continues.
At about 4 p.m. Monday, a 44-year-old man was arrested on a charge of interfering in the 400 block of Third Street. He was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
At about 12:30 p.m. Monday, a 15-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the 3100 block of Riverside Drive. He was transported to Juneau Youth Center.
At about 1:45 p.m. Monday, a 31-year-old man reported money stolen from his bank account. The investigation continues.
Motor vehicle accident:
At about 2:10 p.m. Monday, police issued an "excessive start" citation to an 18-year-old man after the 1994 Ford he was driving struck a 1994 Toyota driven by a 29-year-old man in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue. Each vehicle sustained $5,000 in damage.
At about 6:10 p.m. Monday, police received a report of a hit-and-run accident Renninger Drive.
At about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, a 1995 Ford driven by a 26-year-old woman struck a 2000 Nissan driven by a 60-year-old man in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. No injuries were reported. Police cited the driver of the Ford on a charge of failing to maintain a safe distance and for no proof of insurance. The Ford sustained $5,000 in damage while the Nissan had $7,000.
At about 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, a green 1994 Saturn driven by a 49-year-old man struck a white 2001 Mazda driven by a 69-year-old man in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Police cited the driver of the Saturn on a charge of failing to yield.
At about 1:15 p.m. Monday, a 54-year-old man reported his vehicle was stolen and damaged in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
At about 6:30 p.m. Monday, a 58-year-old woman reported a silver necklace worth $40 stolen in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive. The necklace was later found.
At about noon Tuesday, a 44-year-old woman reported theft of prescription medication from her vehicle in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway. No damage was sustained to the vehicle.
