A felted ornament workshop, led by fiber artist Sara Lee, will be held at the Juneau Douglas City Museum on Saturday. Lee, whose solo show "Heartfelt History" is on display at the museum this month along with "Lines of Design" by bead artist Salty Hanes, will lead two separate sessions: the first from 1-2 p.m. and the second from 2-3 p.m.
Lee will teach participants to make small felted pieces that can be transformed into holiday ornaments, broaches, hair clips or other gifts. All materials and tools will be provided.
The class is open to kids over 14 and to adults. Admission is $3.68 for kids, $5.78 for adults (tax is included). A $3 materials fee is to be paid directly to the instructor on the day of the class.
Pre-registration and pre-payment required, and class size is limited. To register, call 586-3572.
