ANCHORAGE - A 28-year-old Anchorage man has been sentenced to more than 23 years in federal prison for his role in large drug ring.
Federal prosecutors say Timothy Ray Moore conspired to distribute crack cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine between July 2005 and September 2008.
Moore was arrested last year at an Anchorage home, where authorities say they found quantities of heroin and methamphetamine, weapons and more than $45,000.
According to prosecutors, seven accomplices have pleaded guilty and await sentencing. Juan Manuel Menial, the alleged ringleader, is scheduled for trial in February.
