Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police cited two drivers following a two-vehicle accident at 12:31 p.m. Monday near Kanat'a Street. A blue Chevy Caprice backed into a red Mazda Protg that was illegally parked. The Caprice sustained $250 in damage while the Protg had $400 in damage.
A man, 41, was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance following a two-vehicle accident at 3:47 p.m. Monday near outbound Egan Drive and Salmon Creek. A 1993 Ford van, driven by the man, rear-ended a 1996 Mercury, driven by a girl, 16. The Ford sustained $500 in damage and the Mercury sustained $3,500.
Police arrested a girl, 15, on an outstanding state trooper warrant at 3:21 p.m. Monday near Tongass Boulevard. The original warrant was for not complying with an alcohol treatment program. She originally was charged with underage drinking. She was lodged at the Johnson Youth Center.
A girl, 17, was arrested on an outstanding state trooper warrant at 10:07 p.m. Monday near Northwood Drive. The warrant was issued for noncompliance with and alcohol treatment program. She was originally charged with underage drinking. She was lodged at the Johnson Youth Center.
