Former Juneau educator Doris Marie Ham, 83, died Sept. 28, 2002, in Humble, Texas.
She was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Benkelman, Neb., to Ray and Nellie Ham. She graduated from Colorado State College of Education in Greeley with an bachelor's degree in 1945.
She taught in Nebraska, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, Texas and in Juneau and Anchorage.
