Herbert William Jaenicke died Dec. 9, 2002, in Anchorage after a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 26, 1933, in San Francisco. He had lived in Juneau since 1957. He was a fisheries biologist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Chapel by the Lake.
