Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Motor vehicle accidents:

• A man reported at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday the 1996 Ford Ranger he was driving was struck in the rear by a Dodge truck on Nov. 29 near Egan Drive and 10th Street. Damage to the Ranger was estimated at $2,000. No estimate for the Dodge was available.

Hit and run:

• A man reported at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday his Chevrolet Silverado was struck by an unknown vehicle somewhere in the Juneau area. Damage was done to the driver's side of his vehicle. No estimate on repair costs was available.

• A man reported at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday his new Honda Accord was struck by an unknown vehicle near Riverside Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. Damage was estimated at $500.

Lost property:

• A man reported at 11:54 p.m. Tuesday he lost a 24-karat gold chain with a gold cross on it somewhere in the Juneau area.
