She was born in Klukwan on Oct. 15, 1940, to Victor and Annie Hotch.

At her Klukwan ANS memorial service, ANS President Bonnie Sears said, "It will take many of our sisters to fill the spot she has left behind."
Services were held in Klukwan on Oct. 26. A Tlingit traditional 40-day party was held Nov. 30 in Klukwan.
