Gross, Stevens wed

Andrea Gross and Russ Stevens, of Juneau, were married Oct. 20, 2007, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Mary Gross and John and Marian Carlson, of Haines. A graduate of Haines High School, she is a U.S. Coast Guard certified 100-ton captain and is employed as an able-bodied seaman on the Fairweather for the Alaska Marine Highway System.

The groom is the son of Ed and Chris Carte, of Juneau. A graduate of Juneau-Douglas High School and the University of Arizona, he is employed as a public health specialist with the state of Alaska and boxing instructor at Pavitt Health and Fitness.

Groomsmen and co-best men were Kirk Burke, Ed Carte, Rick Carte and Luck Dunbar.

Bridesmaids were Melinda Hernandez, Jayme Jones and Corrie Nash. Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Amy Dunbar.

The couple honeymooned in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and will make their home in Juneau.
