Judgments
Lyle N. Brown, 44, was found guilty of harassment, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Sept. 22.
The original charge was misdemeanor assault.
Magistrate John Sivertsen sentenced him to 40 days in jail with 40 days suspended and one year of probation with the standard conditions of release which includes not committing any crimes, complying with the sentence, violating no laws, paying the cost of incarceration and paying a surcharge. He also must attend anger management classes with Tongass Community Counseling classes.
He also was found guilty of driving without a valid driver's license, a misdemeanor, stemming from Aug. 4..
The original charge was driving with a canceled or suspended license, a misdemeanor.
He was sentenced to a $200 fine, 20 days in jail with $200 suspended and placed him on probation with the standard conditions of release.
A misdemeanor drunken driving charge stemming from an incident of Sept. 22 was dismissed.
Ana K. Taquia - Salcedo, 26, was found guilty of drunken driving stemming from an offense of Nov. 20.
Her blood alcohol level was 0.165 percent. It is illegal to drive with a blood alcohol level of more than 0.08 percent.

Joseph A. Wasowiscz, 24, was found guilty of assault - recklessly causing injury, a misdemeanor, stemming from an offense of Nov. 13.

Michael R. Forest, 40, was found guilty of drunken driving stemming from an offense of Oct. 18. His blood alcohol level was 0.181 percent.
District Judge Peter Froehlich sentenced him to a $1,500 fine, 34 days with 30 days suspended, a 90-day driver's license revocation, JASAP and placed him on probation for 18 months with the standard conditions of release.
Pamela M. James, 22, was found guilty of drunken driving stemming from an offense of Nov. 5.
Froehlich sentenced her to pay a fine of $1,500, 50 days in jail with 45 days suspended, a 90-day driver's license revocation, JASAP and placed her on probation for one year with the standard conditions of release.
A charge of driving without a valid license, a misdemeanor, stemming from an incident of Nov. 5 was dismissed.
