Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:
Police arrested 39-year-old Troy Mathews on a charge of drunken driving at 10:08 p.m. Sunday in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway in the Auke Bay area. They lodged him at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
Police arrested 36-year-old Jose Martinez on a charge of drunken driving at 12:22 a.m. Monday on Gold Street near Second Street downtown. They lodged him at the state prison and impounded the vehicle he was driving.
A mailbox was reported knocked down at 3:59 p.m. Sunday in the 8500 block of Rainbow Row in the Mendenhall Valley.
The outer pane of glass in a door was reported vandalized at 10:05 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area.
A removable faceplate to a car audio system was reported stolen at 7:05 a.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle in the 9300 block of Rivercourt Way in the valley.
Compact discs containing Christian music were reported stolen at 7:39 a.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle in the 9300 block of Lakeview Court in the valley.
A 2001 Dodge van was reported at 8:37 a.m. Monday to have been broken into in the 9100 block of Glacierwood Drive in the valley. Nothing was reported stolen.
A hockey stick, cables for a personal digital music player, a hat and gloves were reported stolen at 9:01 a.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Third Street in the Douglas area.
Police cited a 39-year-old woman on a charge of careless driving at 7:32 p.m. Sunday after the 1999 Chevrolet Lumina she was driving struck a telephone pole at Maier Drive and Industrial Boulevard. Damage to the car was estimated at $2,000.
Hit and run:
At 5:03 p.m. Sunday, a man reported a small dark vehicle that did not stop struck the 2003 Dodge Caravan he was driving on Mendenhall Loop Road near El Camino Street. Damage was estimated at $700.
