Juneau resident Bernice Stoll died Dec. 7, 2007, at Wildflower Court. She was 96.

She was born April 10, 1911, the last of 12 children to Joel and Ella Van Horn. Her parents were farmers who migrated from Ohio to Kansas in a covered wagon. She was a graduate of North Denver High School.
She was a homemaker who also helped in the family upholstery business in Denver.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Stoll; and son, Wally Stoll.
She is survived by her son, Don Stoll and his wife, Eleanor, of Juneau; grandchildren, Tim Stoll and his wife, Virginia, of Juneau, Dawn Mahra and her husband, Doug, of Cedaredge, Colo., and Lisa Heyer and her husband, Al, of Cowell, Australia; and great grandchildren, Bryn and Joseph Mahra, of Cedaredge.
At her request, her remains were cremated. There will be no services.
