Thanks for Perseverance Theatre's Education Outreach Program

Posted: Sunday, December 13, 2009

The Canvas art program at REACH offers a huge thank you to Perseverance Theatre for providing REACH artists the opportunity to learn about acting through the Perseverance Theatre Education Outreach Program.

On Nov. 23, the Canvas hosted a performance of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" on the theatre's main stage to a packed audience. The collaboration was a fabulous exploration of expression through voice and movement for the actors involved in the project. And of course, behind every successful project is a wonderful person, and in this case she is Shona Strauser.

Shona is truly an exceptional teacher with endless energy, and the ability to inspire and motivate a room full of people the moment she enters. Shona is a gem, and all of us at the Canvas appreciate the opportunity we've had to work with her through the gracious support of Perseverance Theatre.
