COPPER CENTER - A 17-year-old girl was killed in a crash on the Richardson Highway near Copper Center.

Alaska State Troopers said Deborah Bell of Kenny Lake, who was found about 7 a.m. Sunday, was the only person in the car that skidded off the highway and rolled. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected and hit a tree.

Troopers said alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash.
