Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Drunken driving:

• Police arrested Rex H. Elliott, 57, on a charge of drunken driving after an accident on Davis Avenue at Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area. Police lodged Elliott at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and impounded the vehicle he was driving. No one was reported injured in the accident.


• A man reportedly walked out of a business at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday without paying for two packs of batteries and some deli food in the 600 block of West Willoughby Avenue downtown. The loss was estimated at $14.

• At 4:56 p.m. Tuesday, a hand-held video game system with about eight games was reported stolen from the 6500 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area.


• Vandalism to Christmas lawn ornaments was reported at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 9300 block of Long Run Drive in the Mendenhall Valley. The loss was estimated at $50.

• A passenger-side window of a 1991 Honda Civic was reported vandalized at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 8500 block of Old Dairy Road near the airport. The loss was estimated at $500.

• A man reported at 2:05 Tuesday that sometime since Friday night someone had scratched his 1999 Dodge Dakota with a key.

• At 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, a man reported vandalism to his inflatable snowman lawn ornament in the 1700 block of Fritz Cove Road. Damage was estimated at $45.

Disorderly conduct:

• Police cited a woman, 26, on a charge of disturbing the peace at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue in the Douglas area.

Vehicle accident:

• Police cited a man, 52, on a speed violation charge after an accident at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday at Mendenhall Loop Road and Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. The man was driving a 1994 Honda that reportedly hit a 2002 Chevrolet driven by a woman, 39. Damage was estimated at $2,500 to the Honda and $1,500 to the Chevrolet.
