The 103-page plan will be considered by the School Board in a first reading form at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the library at Juneau-Douglas High School. The School District on Friday said the board will allow 45 minutes for public input.

According to the district, people can speak for two or three minutes about their thoughts and concerns on the School District's plan to transition high school education, open Thunder Mountain High School and develop an equitable and equal sports program.

At the end of Tuesday's meeting, the School Board will consider whether or not to add a special January meeting to accommodate more public comments if more people wish to speak, the School District said.
