A Juneau Police Department officer looks at two cars involved in a collision that injured four people Friday afternoon on Egan Drive near the Douglas Bridge.
A woman, 40, lost control of her beige Mercury on the ice and struck a red Plymouth, according to police reports. The woman was cited. All of the injuries were minor.
According to police reports, a beige 1986 Mercury operated by a woman, 40, lost control on ice while outbound on Egan near 10th Street and crossed into the inbound lane striking a red 1990 Plymouth. Both vehicles were totaled.
Both drivers and two passengers were transported to Bartlett Regional Hospital with minor injuries. A Bartlett nursing supervisor said all were treated and released.
According to Sgt. Ben Coronell of the Juneau Police Department, the woman, 40, was issued a traffic citation.
