After reading Mark Farmer's letter, it scares me to think of this guy running for office in this town again.
Please leave Mark Farmer alone, he knows what he's doing.
Whoever the grinch was who stole our Christmas outdoor projector on Columbia Boulevard, please have a heart and return it.
I've come out of many meetings where what I thought I agreed to was not what they said I agreed to. If I'm agreeing to something, I would like an unbiased, accurate record of what it was I agreed to.
To the person who would donate all those millions of dollars wasted on electricity, I don't really care for ice skating, but I really do enjoy loading up the car with my husband and my children and driving around and looking at all of the beautiful lights.
Thank you to the individual who turned in my camera at Fred Meyer. I left it in my shopping cart last evening. When I went to Fred Meyer this morning, it was there. I appreciate it very much. Merry Christmas.
Only seven of the 21 channels GCI gives basic cable buyers have anything that you can watch. Channel 14 and 15 go off the air for days. GCI, please get us channels 14 and 15 from somewhere - they're never on.
Bush crooked his way into being president.
Bush won the Florida vote on election day. He won it after the second recount and was certified as the winner after the third. What's there to understand?
There seems to be a lot of snotty things being said by the Republican Party. George Bush did not win this election. He was put into place by a faulty election standard in Florida. He was not voted in officially as president in almost anybody's eyes.
I find it interesting that people keep saying the Democrats are whining, yet Word of Mouth is filled with comments from whining Republicans. People from both parties should realize the election is over. The decision is made. It is time to move on. Get behind the president. Regardless of who was elected, work with him. If you don't like him, deal with it in four years. In the meantime, help change the election process so people have faith in voting.
We will be down to a one-party system once the number of citizens on welfare and other federal gimme programs exceeds the citizens footing the bill. These people are the bread and butter of the Democratic Party.
Thank God Bush got elected. He is more of a Democrat than Gore is and I think the Democrats should be happy.
Under the popular vote, New York, California and Ohio might control the outcome if they could all get 100 percent on the same side. Good luck.
If the Supreme Court is perceived as partisan on behalf of the Republicans perhaps it was in response to an even greater degree of partisanship on the part of the Florida Supreme Court.
