Hoops for Charity will be holding a basketball tournament featuring 16 teams in Juneau beginning today at Floyd Dryden Middle School and ending at Thunder Mountain High School on Sunday
There will be with a dance performance for those in attendance at TMHS on Saturday night.
This year, proceeds will go to Love, Inc., and the Thunder Mountain baseball program.
Basketball games will run from 5-9:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at FDMS. Saturday games will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at FDMS, while games at TMHS will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m the same day.
Following the games on Saturday, dance group Yees Ku Oo will perform at 7 p.m.
Sunday games at TMHS will begin at 10 a.m., and end at 7 p.m.
This will be Hoops for Charity's third such event this year, aiming to help raise money for local organizations and to bring more basketball to Juneau.
